Introduction

Sahara Welfare Nepal (SWN) is non profit, politically non-aligned NGO which was founded by a team of spiritually devoted to social work. It focuses on helping the poor and backward communities of Nepal specially women and children. SWN is committed in supporting self-reliant and sustainable development through organizing women & children at the grassroots level and supporting them as they carry out action research to improve their lives. SWN organizes different cultural, educational & sport program in different countries for the funding.

Since the human nature is sensible and creative, the creation of new ideas, thoughts is developed for themselves automatically. So, realizing this fact, "SWN” always encourages them in their new ideas and new interests.

"SWN" has realized the necessity of implementing programs for basic needs such as domestic earning works, health education, formal education, environmental & ecological education etc. To fulfill these basic needs, "SWN" has been implementing under the rural health program, health post and medicine distribution in free of cost has also been carried out as per requirements and the necessary health advisory also been provided.
