SWN in Nepal

Nepal, a landlocked country, is situated between two big countries India & China in the Asia continent of the world. The country is recognized as a country of Everest, country of Lord Buddha in the arena of the world. The physical & natural beauty, rich and diverse culture, friendly & hospitable people are the major characteristics of Nepal. Despite of the immense resources, Nepal is one of the poorest country in the world due to the poverty, high infant mortality, illiteracy, unemployment, and lack of basic education, health and training facilities specially in the rural area, Nepal’s everyday life has become only the matter of survival. Among these facts, Nepal has faced more about a decade long political conflict, which has back warded the country.

More than 3900 villages exist in the landlocked country Nepal. Most people rely on agriculture for the livelihood that is only for six months. After six months they have nothing to do. So they are compelled to face the scarcity for various necessities for daily living. By learning this scenario, "SWN” has been originated. SWN provides various income generating training, Health Awareness Training & Educational Awareness so that that they could be skillful one.

SWN has fully devoted in different job oriented trainings to train for unemployed and illiterate rural women who are seeking for the skills and work in order to improve themselves. Since the "SWN” formed, it has already organized a charity show concert “ Seiko Lee” in aid of Breast Cancer stricken People.
